TALK THERAPY
Talk therapy is just a simple term for psychotherapy.
Talk therapy is grounded in the idea that talking about the things that are bothering you, with a therapist you connect with, may decrease emotional distress and the effects of other symptoms.
Meadows Therapy offers therapy/counselling services in person at our office or in your home, or online.
Whatever it is that’s bothering you, there’s no need to struggle alone. Sometimes we just need someone to really hear us. Sometimes we need to learn new skills to cope with our struggles. Sometimes we need help sorting out our thoughts. Sometimes we need help figuring out how what has happened to us effects how we think, feel and behave. And sometimes we need help healing from things we have done or things that were done to us. You’re here because you think it might be time to talk to someone, too.
Meadows Therapy offers general therapy services to adults for concerns relating to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationships, life decisions/meaning/purpose, spirituality, and other concerns relating to recent or historical trauma. We also offer various personal and professional workshops, as well as social science research/consulting and clinical supervision to new therapists.
